These terms apply when you use a Small Cove Media website, submit one of our forms, book a call, or opt in to our text messages. They are short on purpose. If something here is unclear, email us and ask.
"We", "us", and "Small Cove Media" mean Small Cove Media LLC. "You" means whoever is reading this and using the site.
These terms cover smallcovemedia.com, barbershop.smallcovemedia.com, sites.smallcovemedia.com, and any preview or client site we host on a smallcovemedia.com subdomain.
What we do
Small Cove Media is a marketing agency. We build websites, run paid advertising, and set up lead follow-up systems for service businesses. Anything on this site describing results is a description of past work for specific clients, not a promise of what your business will do. Marketing outcomes depend on your offer, your market, your pricing, and how fast you answer your leads, and most of those are not things we control.
Using the site
You may read, share, and link to anything here. You may not copy our page templates, site builds, or written material to resell as your own, scrape the site at volume, attempt to break into any part of it, or submit forms with someone else's contact details.
The text, design, logos, and code on our sites belong to Small Cove Media LLC. Client names and logos belong to those clients and appear here with permission.
Forms and booking
When you submit a form or book a call, you are telling us the information is yours and it is accurate. We use it to contact you about your inquiry. What we collect and how long we keep it is spelled out in our Privacy Policy.
Submitting a form does not create a client relationship and does not obligate either of us to anything. Work begins when there is a signed agreement and an invoice.
Text messaging (SMS) terms
Consent is not a condition of purchase. You are never required to agree to receive text messages in order to buy anything from us, book a call, or submit any form on this site.
How you join
You join our text messaging program by checking the SMS consent box on one of our web forms and submitting it. The box is not pre-checked. Nobody can opt you in but you.
What you will receive
Small Cove Media sends appointment reminders and confirmations, replies to questions you have asked us, and occasional marketing and promotional messages about our services.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on how you interact with us. In practice this is a handful of messages per month at most.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you for text messages. Your mobile carrier might, depending on your plan.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message from us and you will be unsubscribed. You will get one final message confirming it, and then nothing else. Reply HELP to any message for help, or email us at any time.
Carriers and delivery
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We support the major U.S. carriers, but delivery is never guaranteed, and carrier filtering is outside our control.
Your privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Client work
If you become a client, the written agreement or proposal you sign governs the work: scope, price, timeline, ownership, and how either side ends it. Where that agreement and these terms disagree, the signed agreement wins.
Third-party links and tools
Our sites link to and run tools from other companies, including HighLevel, Google, Meta, and Netlify. We do not control those services and are not responsible for them. Their terms apply when you use them.
Liability
The site is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, Small Cove Media LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or our text messaging program. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Fresno County, California.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, the date at the top changes. If the change is significant, we will say so plainly rather than quietly editing a paragraph.
